OUR MISSION STATEMENT_

Acrux is the brightest star in the constellation Crux, the Southern Cross, and, at a combined visual magnitude is the 13th brightest star in the night sky. Acrux is the first-magnitude star, used by the earliest ocean navigators to find their ways in the farthest sides of the Pacific Ocean, we might be one of those followers, a group of passionate divers who believes that underwater life encourage love and respect for life,  an unknown space willing to be discovered.

To do so our staff put special attention to safety details, training procedures and environmental care, making sure that every student who graduates from our learning cycles, enjoy and understand the importance of reducing human footprint on hearth, helping to conserve and restore our natural playgrounds for future generations allowing them to keep exploring even deeper Oceans.

EDUCATIONAL BELIEVES_

A learning curve has different stages, each of them are well attended and fully understanded by of our instructors.

WHY?

accelerating those steps will affect the basis of any educational process, within Acrux team, we define this as task overload, affecting the initial experience for students, probably one of the most critical stages in the Diving learning curve.

OUR STANDARDS

Acrux Instructors, Dive Masters and Guides are all trained under the Profesional Asociation of Diving Instructors - PADI - international standards, the most recognized Diving agency which leads the industry trainig programs, making sure our future divers will be able to enjoy diving in a safely manner not only in Chile but also everywhere in world.

What we do_

Acrux is a diving academy capable to educate students who wants to explore underwater environments, that´s why we created what we call Academic Cycles which their primary objective is to provide the necessary tools to enjoy Recreational and Technical dives on a safety manner, where each training session is attach to a medium-long term objective which will provide the necessary skills to enjoy diving.

Where we are_

place

We are located in Chile

Even though our Head Quarters are located in Los Andes City, we currently have all our operations based in Pichidangui, a small town well known not only for being the hub for local diving centers and because of the incredible magnitude of their underwater natural resources, but also for being strategically well located from Santiago, Chile´s main capital.

From Pichidangui´s downtown and after a great day of diving, you might be able to visit some spectacular wineries only 40 minutes away, enjoy the best seafood for dinner, or just chill out at your hotel and rest for next day diving activities.
